Alliance

As we all dont want to join on a Server that is damned to fail from the beginning, we gotta keep our eyes open for Servers that have active, well organized guilds and alliances.

The first Ally i find quite interesting is this the "Northern Assembly" from the Server "Far Shiverpeaks". Take a look yourself and tell me your opinions, also keep your eyes open for other alliances on other servers that could be interesting.

FS scored 4:2 first BWE and won all in BWE#2 atleast thats what the guy i was talking to told me. (not a big reference though, it will all swap after release anyway, when guilds/allys really start to organize themselfes with their whole playerbase)

They make a good impression, but I think in the long run we will be better of on an EU server. As population dwindles, as it surely will, EU primetime on a US server is going to suck ^^

The nordic alliance looks good, sverige!!!1 But I am biased, obviously ^^

The largest investment firm that handles NCSoft stock in Korea is reporting that they believe their will be 3 million+ sales at launch through end of 2012.

With no subscription, and how awesome this game is, i think pop is going to hold. I expect in both EU and USA.

Well to come up as a good server it would be perfect to have 50/50 EU/US ... but i guess that server would be hard to find.. though maybe it would even suck to have 50/50 as the primetime of the server would lack players and we would still get pwned.. 80/20 or so might be good so u have a little force for the night hours but still a strong force for primetime..

The Northern Assembly looks great to me. I poked around there site, and theyve got quite a few old, established, mature guilds that seem to groove appropriately with Rare's philosophy.


I recently came across this write up by Team Legacy (sister to Team Liquid pro star craft team), and it covered choke points in large keep takes well enough that I wanted to share.

It might even be something that an entire alliance (rather, it is something that an entire alliance) could use as reference for setting up things like "hey rare you hold this choke point while blah blah"...etc...anyway im ripped atm, its self explanatory (:
