Don't forget the retaliation for the guardian bunker build, its basically how they do dmg (while also countering many burst skills)

I have been messing around trying out a few builds and dabbled slightly though not much in sPVP at the weekend on my engineer.

I tried a fully bunker type of build and could hold points for a while against attacking players, though not exactly a thrilling way to play for me but very effective.

I am primarily a power/rifle/grenade wvw player but atm dabbling with a more condition dual pistol build to see how effective it is from a small scale wvw (if can find fights and not zergs) and also from sPVP side.

I did the pistol/shield in spvp was quite hard for people to kill me just pretty boring playstyle., however never tried it from a more damaging sorta spec. Need to play around in wvw with some specs.

Plus love the look of the 2 pistols over pistol/shield :P

You probably are aware of this but in sPVP you are full level 80 with standard looking gear that you can slot various runes in depending what spec you want to play. Plus can change specs around freely.

So you can make a new character, just get past the starting quest and can go straight to the mists to try out :)

I am not happy to play in a guild group as yet though as still a complete newblet with the maps etc. let alone specs :P
