Post your planned builds

This is the build I am running with at present from a WvW point of view.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/en/?fcMQFAU ... xSjjGJNDKA

Pretty effective of course from a keep defence point of view but also I find it quite effective from a roaming pov as well.

I keep dabbling also with something along these lines:

http://gw2skills.net/editor/en/?fcMQFAU ... YpxRjkmZJA

But for sure prefer the first and also not a huge fan of the FT kit.

Ignore the runes has haven't fully decided on what I am using yet.

This is my first try to get a useful build with my guardian:

Anyone has to say sth. about that? ;)

That looks pretty good. I personally am not a huge fan of the elite skill that makes you invulnerable for 3 seconds, because it is a channeled ability that you can't do anything while you are invulnerable. So its mostly only useful for recharging your virtues. I use it underwater, because it seems to be the only usable elite while under water, and find it to not be very useful.

Based on how you setup your utilites, I would recommend checking out tome of courage for an elite, or maybe even tome of warth. They both offer some very nice skills. Also, don't forget, that if you are ever solo, the Teleport To Nearest Ally and Setup a healing field skill won't do anything.

Your stat balance looks pretty good too. Might sacrifice tough just a hair to raise vit a little, because having 17-20K HPs is pretty nice with all that armor. You also may want to check out the 'create a shield of absorption while rezzing' trait in place of the 'apply aegies and regen to you and allies after rezzing', as they are similar, but I found the formed a bit more useful since it starts when you begin rezzing instead of when you finish.

Overall a good build I'd say, should work well in WvW especially in an offensive support role.

Ah ok, wrong ability chosen, should have been teleport and burn nearby foes. ;)

Just tried to raise vit, but the stat combination of the most items have been with cond dmg and crit dmg when there was vit in it. But I will try to find a way through that.

Thanks for the advice!

I believe the Knight and Valkyrie item sets have vitality, power, and either crit dmg or toughness depending on which one. But double check that.
